A shadow dancing on the beach,
It was far from reach
She felt like a dream.
Something that I couldn’t reach
Light flashed on her face. A sunbeam.
She was me,
Dancing as the sun set
Gazing at my silhouette
Amazed that I was finally me.
As the waves clashed onto the shore
I couldn’t think no more
My bare feet brushed the sand.
The sound of the whooshing waves
Made me forget all my mistakes.
