3. Praise Effort, Not Just Success

Focus on acknowledging your learner’s effort rather than just the outcome. This
encourages them to value hard work and persistence over innate talent.

Interactive Tip: When your learner completes a task, compliment their effort and
the strategies they used. For instance, “I’m really proud of how hard you worked on

your project. Your dedication really showed!”

         4. Encourage Journaling
Journaling can be a powerful tool for children to reflect on their experiences

and emotions. It can also help them practice gratitude and recognize their
             growth over time.

Interactive Tip: Set up a “Family Journal” where each member writes or draws

about their daily experiences. Share entries during family time to discuss what
         everyone has learned.

         5. Embrace and Learn from Failure
Teach your student that failure is not something to fear but an opportunity for

growth. Help them analyze what went wrong and how they can improve.

Interactive Tip: When your child encounters a setback, guide them through a
“Failure Reflection” exercise. Ask questions like, “What did you learn from this
experience?” and “How can we use this knowledge next time?”

By incorporating these practices into your classroom routine, you’re not just
teaching your student about a growth mindset—you’re embodying it. Remember,
fostering this mindset is a continuous journey for both you and your learner.
