even ordinary things can shine
People always look for stars,
Or diamonds in a sky so far.
But I think that’s not fair,
There is beauty right here, everywhere.
Like, my old shoes with scuffed-up toes
Have walked through stories no one
knows.
And this, plain notebook, kinda torn,
Holds secrets and dreams since I was
born.
Even my chipped-up coffee mug
Feels like a warm and cozy hug.
A paperclip, just silver wire,
Still holds things close - it doesn’t tire.
You don’t need glitter, gold or fame,
To be worth of love or earn a name.
Even if you’re not a sign -
EVEN ORDINARY THINGS CAN SHINE.
