CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

TEACHER’S DAY CBSE CELEBRATION 2020

More than 23000 schools affiliated to CBSE celebrate Teacher’s Day across
India on 5th September every year to acknowledge the enormous role teachers
play in building an educated and progressive society. This year too, CBSE
initiated a new and unique way to celebrate this day through various formats -
Virtual/Social Media.

# Our Teachers Our Heroes# was one such initiative where students were
encouraged to take their selfies while they held papers in which they wrote
beautiful and meaningful messages for their teachers. This drive had an
enormous response from the students of Nand Vidya Niketan. Children from
classes UKG to XII posted selfies and wrote heart-warming messages
dedicated to their favourite teachers. It was such an excellent and rewarding
experience for the mentors who want nothing else to be happy, other than the
smiling faces of children.

The knowledge and the values imparted by the mentors make a world of
difference in the lives of the students and they look up to their mentors as
nothing short of heroes. The deligence and the resilience of the teachers
during the present times also touched the chord of gratitude in the hearts of the
children.
