spread served on a banana leaf.
The opulent meal is studded with 26 distinct vegetarian preparations!The Dishes are as follows;
1. Rice is the main item in an Onam Sadya.

tomato and potato and flavoured with herbs.
3. Rasam.
4. Aviyal.
5. Pachadi.
6. Puliyinchi.
7. Thoran.

During the Onam festival, there are 6 days of festivities;

Onam is an annual holiday and festival celebrated in Kerala, India.
According to legends, the festival is celebrated to commemorate King Mahabali, whose spirit is
said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.
On this joyous occasion of Onam, I wish you joy and good health and may you always enjoy the
bounty of nature! On this festive occasion, I extend my warm wishes to you and your family.
